The MET Parachute MCR is our full face convertible helmet designed for Enduro, Trail and VTTAE.
Equipped with the MIPS-C2® system and ASTM 1952-15/2032-15 certification for the shell and chin strap, the Parachute MCR offers the maximum level of protection from rotational and linear impacts.
The Parachute MCR is designed to be a true two-in-one helmet. In full face mode, it has a stylish and aggressive look and provides full protection. In jet mode, it has the look of our All-Mountain helmets.
MCR stands for Magnetic Chinbar Release, allowing you to instantly convert from full face to jet and vice versa. MCR is a revolutionary system MET, created in partnership with Fidlock®.
The visor is adjustable on two positions and allows a perfect compatibility with masks and sunglasses. It is also made of a flexible plastic that limits the transfer of torsional forces to the neck during an impact.
The fit and comfort are perfect, thanks to the presence of two sizes of foam in the box and the BOA-FS1® system, which is characterized by a precise and safe micrometric regulation. The 360° headband court allows the absence of any point pressure, optimizing comfort and stability.
The closing buckle Fidlock makes it easy and rapide to close the helmet.
Using the MIPS-C2® brain protection system, the MET Parachute is able to slide relative to the head in case of impact. In fact, the head is separated from the helmet by a thin, low-friction cap (LFL) and attached to the helmet by elastomers allowing 10-15mm movement in all directions and redirecting adverse rotational forces.
