The MET Roam MIPS is designed specifically for All-Mountain and Enduro riding. The cap provides extensive coverage of the neck and temples.
The MIPS-C2® system provides an additional level of protection and allows the helmet to slide relative to the head in case of impact. The head is separated from the helmet by a thin, low-friction cap (LFL) and attached to the helmet by elastomers that allow 10-15mm of movement in all directions and redirect harmful rotational forces.
The visor is adjustable and has two side clips that, combined with the back rib, keep the mask's elastic in place. Perfect compatibility with masks and glasses is guaranteed. Made of flexible plastic, the visor limits the transfer of torsional forces to the neck in case of impact.
All MET helmets are known for their excellent ventilation and comfort. The 22 openings are designed to channel air into the helmet, creating a continuous and refreshing flow.
Since the areas most at risk durant of impact are the temples and neck, we have increased protection in these areas without compromising the helmet's light weight.
The MET Roam MIPS has won numerous awards for comfort. The internal foams have a larger surface area, providing perfect stability, no matter what the playing field. The fit is easily customizable with the MET Safe-T Orbital control system that offers 4 different vertical positions, 2 occipitals and a 360° headband that avoids uncomfortable contact points.
