The all-new Manta Mips is a helmet that defines the aesthetic MET and its highly contemporary design. It's as bright as the original, but with a sharper look, it makes a statement at the forefront. The MET Manta Mips is more aerodynamic than its predecessor thanks to a lowered tube-shaped tail, developed specifically in the wind tunnel at NEWTON's Milan laboratory. Using the MIPS-C2® Rational Impact Management System, the MET Manta Mips is able to slide relative to the head in the event of an impact, redirecting harmful rotational forces. MIPS is a brain protection system designed to add protection to conventional helmet construction in certain types of impacts. The MIPS Brain Protection System (BPS) is attached to the inside of the helmet, between the comfort foams and the EPS.The Fidlock® magnetic buckle makes it easier and faster to fermeture the helmet, effectively reducing transition times in Triathlon.While primarily an aerodynamic helmet, the MET Manta MIPS is nonetheless well ventilated. We designed the internal channels to channel the air. The signature NACA venting at MET works in synergy with the specially positioned vents to ensure a constant flow of air through the helmet without creating turbulence and drag.It has two ports for storing sunglasses.In addition to its performance, the MET Manta Mips is also exceptionally comfortable.
