The Stages Power meter for Shimano Ultegra R8000 crankset is available as an option Stages Power L (left-hand side), Stages Power LR (double-sided) and Stages Power R (right-hand side).
Stages Power R: mounted on a Shimano Ultegra R8000 crank arm on the drive side and is compatible with all frames that fit Shimano Hollowtech II cranks.
Accuracy: +/- 1.5% accuracy in all conditions
Meter housing: Low-profile version, with robust door interface. Tool-free battery replacement on left arm and drive-side phillips head screw access.
Weight: Adds just 35g (Stages Power LR) / 15g (Stages Power L) / 20g (Stages Power R) to the basic crank set
Battery life: 175+ hours (Stages Power LR, via 2 coin cell batteries: CR2032), 200+ hours (battery cell: CR2032) when used as Stages Power L or Stages Power R counter

Active Temperature Compensation (ATC) as standard equipment
Consistency of measurement is the most important feature of a power meter. Stages Power was the premier meter to make temperature compensation an automatic process, ensuring accurate readings whatever the environmental conditions. ATC is the main reason why a rider can trust Stages Power's data in all conditions.
Individual meter calibration for more accurate results
Each Stages Power sensor is individually calibrated to guarantee an accuracy level of +/- 1.5%, which is the best accuracy level in the industry for non-scientific sensors. Individual calibration means you can trust the two-sided data produced by our system, because it's an actual measurement, not an estimate.
Stages Power R for enhanced compatibility or upgrading an existing Stages Power L meter to Stages Power LR
Although not widespread, some key bike models are not compatible with the Stages Power L crank due to interference with the power meter housing, e.g. Cervelo's P5 and many bikes fitted with chain stay-mounted brake calipers. Stages Power R offers enhanced compatibility with these models, as well as the possibility of upgrading existing Stages Power L meters to Stages Power LR bilateral (dual) meter systems.
