To achieve ABEC-5 certification, bearings must pass an arsenal of tests, including high-speed noise testing, a draconian dimensional tolerance on ball roundness, ring depth and component facing.
C3: This specification describes the internal clearance between the bearing and its race. For example, in a 10-18 ID bearing, our tolerance level is 11-21 microns while others use 11-25 microns.
