Some of Tom's favorite experiences have been pedaling his tandem around the world with his wife Martha. When he designed the new Outback TandM Break-Away, he wanted a wheelset that could withstand the rigors of riding a tandem on a variety of surfaces. The result is the new Comp Zeta TandM wheelset.
The Comp Zeta TandM wheels take all the advantages of the Comp Zeta Disc wheels fromorigine, and add tandem-friendly features. The locking disc hubs rapide are 100mm wide at the front and 145mm wide at the rear and feature stronger spokes and brass nipples on 36-hole tubeless Zeta rims. Designed specifically for the Ritchey Outback TandM Break-Away frame, the Zeta TandM Comp wheelset is solid, reliable and integrates perfectly with the frame for many miles of tandem riding pleasure. Each Zeta wheelset is handcrafted by a skilled technician. The OCR® (Off Center Rim) design reduces the wheel's pitch to balance spoke tension for a stronger, stiffer wheel.
