Description
A key component of Ritchey's new Switch system, the all-new headset stem from Ritchey is designed to work specifically with Ritchey 's Switch stem to route cables, wires and hydraulic lines from the handlebars to the bike's frame. The cables are routed from the handlebars to the headset conduit, which is located under the stem Switch, and then pass through an opening in the front of the headset spacers Switch before passing through two channels on top of the headset and into the frame. This system allows the headset bearings to operate without interference from cables, wires or lines running through the head tube.
The Switch headset comes with two spacers Switch. Additional Switch spacers are also available.
Important: The length of the headset conduit must match the length of the desired Switch rod.
About the Switch system from Ritchey
The Switch system from Ritchey is an innovative integrated system designed to easily conceal cables, wires and hydraulic lines routed inside the handlebar in bicycle frames with 1.5" straight head tubes and 1-1/8" - 1.5" tapered forks. The Switch system consists of three components:
