An Air Chamber Schwalbe keeps the air in much longer.
The quality of the ingredients and the purity of the rubber mix determine the quality of the Chamber even at the material stage. During vulcanization, each Schwalbe hose is placed in a mold and pumped. This is the only way to ensure uniform wall thickness and excellent air retention.
Constant monitoring ensures the greatest possible operational safety: each chamber is pumped at the factory and stored under pressure for 32 hours to check its air content. Due to its high elasticity and quality, one tube covers many tire sizes. For example, the No. 17 inner tube works equally well with a 28 mm tire width as with a 47 mm tire width. Only a very high quality and reliable tube can meet this requirement.
