The MX239 Gravel is the latest version of our most popular gravel bike shoe for adventure enthusiasts. This new evolution of our legendary MX238 Gravel has now been updated to include an integrated tongue in the medial panel of the upper for a firmer foot hold, ensuring that power is maximized when propelling forward due to improved stability.

The MX239 Gravel features a new internal reinforced heel cup made of fiberglass, creating a more stable heel hold, and has more space between the two BOA® dials for a better fit in the forefoot area. This takes one of our favourite off-road adventure cycling shoes to a whole new level of comfort, fit, and performance, with a modern style as standard. Add in the genuine Mountain Race X rubber sole, and you have a gravel bike shoe ready to take on any challenge.

Fit
MX Competition Last - The MX239 Gravel offers a roomier toe box and a tighter heel compared to the Comfort Plus Last and has a slightly greater overall volume than our Sport Last. It’s an exceptionally secure cycling shoe, giving you extra confidence on loose terrain where safety is essential during intense rides and races. The shoe provides enough space in the toe box to avoid pinching during climbs or tricky technical sections. The wider toe box gives your feet a more natural fit and platform.

Outsole
The MX239 Gravel comes with our Lake Competition 100% carbon fiber outsole, along with our genuine Mountain Race X rubber sole, providing you with an ultra-stable all-terrain cycling shoe. With extensive protection for the toe area and the option to add studs to the front of the sole, it offers the essential stability for feet on all types of technical terrain, even the softest.

Lining
This latest high-performance road cycling shoe is available with a choice of Clarino Microfiber (Stone/Black or White/Black) or Recycled Leather (Black/Gold) featuring abrasion-resistant mesh and Helcor leather panels with an Outlast heel lining. In our ongoing efforts to use the best materials available, and by working with world-class material suppliers, we are also committed to sustainability in our latest products, which means that our shoes are designed to last and can be repaired. Closure
BOA® Fit System Li2 Push/Pull Dial mounted on the side with integrated release guides within the incredibly fitted and comfortable uppers from Lake. The Li2 dial is the most advanced platform in cycling, offering precise and micro-adjustable fit in both directions and designed to resist abrasion. No single element can be credited for the fit of the shoe.
