This SD Components housing is specially designed for BMX Race. It enables a crankset with a 24mm axle to be installed on a frame with a 68mm outer width and a 42mm inner diameter.

It's called "BB30 to 24mm" because it features resized bearings specially adapted to 24mm axles. The internal bearings have a diameter of 24mm.

The SD housing offers both rigidity and practicality. Thanks to its threaded interlocking system, it can be installed without the need for a press, simply by screwing the two bearings together using a special wrench Shimano.

NOTE: This bottom bracket comes with three spacers to adjust the alignment of your chain and Q-factor.
