Description

Triathletes Need To Wear drymax TRI Socks
The drymax TRI sock protects feet for both the Bike and Run stages. Quick to put on, this sock's technology is guaranteed to keep feet
cooler, drier and prevent time robbing blisters and chafing or we'll buy them back!

Technology That Protects Feet
The TRI sock helps prevent chafing and blisters with a system that incorporates PTFE(Polytetrafluoroethylene) fibers along with drymax fibers in the entire heel, forefoot and toe areas of the sock. Additionally, the top mesh air panel releases heat and sweat vapors to cool and dry the feet.

PTFE has the lowest Coefficient-of-Friction of any fiber, making it the best at keeping friction low between the skin and sock. Low friction PTFE fibers allow the TRI sock with the blister protection system to stay cooler and drier, reducing the chances of getting hot spots, blisters or chafing while cycling and running.

SPECIAL NOTICE: These socks are designed for extreme, extended outdoor use by professional mountaineers, ultrarunners, and experts to protect wearers' health and safety in very wet, extreme conditions and over long distances. It is not designed for general consumer use.

Why our ePTFE is Safe:

Inertness and size: PTFE is a high molecular weight, solid, and chemically inert polymer. It does not degrade into smaller, more mobile PFAS under normal conditions and is not water-soluble.
Non-bioavailability: Due to its size and inertness, PTFE is not bioavailable. It does not accumulate in the body, interact with cells, or be easily absorbed. This distinguishes it from smaller, more mobile PFAS that pose greater health and environmental concerns.
Low concern for toxicity: Scientific and regulatory bodies, including the Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD), have classified fluoropolymers such as PTFE as "polymers of low concern" because their properties make them low risk to human health and the environment.
