Description +

All Box handlebars are designed and manufactured using oversized technology. The handlebars serve a dual purpose as they contribute to both steering stiffness and pedaling efficiency. By strategically varying the wall thickness and tube diameters, Box has shifted material from three low-stress areas to high-load zones. This has significantly minimized twisting and improved responsiveness. At the same time, Box has enhanced pedaling rigidity by providing resistance to the "lift" phenomenon. There's no point in pedaling hard if you can't pull on your handlebars and deliver that power. Power can easily be lost due to handlebar deflection, which can lead to poor power transfer and steering control. When combined with the other oversized components from Box, you'll experience increased responsiveness and reduced lag.

Key differences: this particular handlebar model is designed for taller riders. Titanium allows for exploring the structural stiffness of steel but without the weight compromise. It's as exotic a solution as carbon fibre but yields a slightly different result for the discerning rider. Carbon will provide a more aggressive steering response, while titanium will be very responsive but more refined.
