The Teknika collection combines the benefits of a winter jacket with protection against the cold and adds the excellent fit of a long-sleeve jersey. As a result, you get something that's lightweight and highly breathable.
For the preparation of this jacket, two fabrics are used: on one hand, Gore-Tex Infinium Windstopper, which covers the entire front and the upper back, and on the other hand, Thermosystem Termika for the sleeves and the middle of the back.
The chest, stomach, neck, and adjacent muscles are protected with Gore-Tex Infinium Windstopper fabric, providing total wind resistance while keeping the body temperature stable. Additionally, the exterior of the fabric has a water-repellent treatment to limit water penetration on rainy days without compromising the fabric's properties in these body areas.
For the sleeves and the middle of the back, it's covered with Thermosystem Termika fabric. Its main virtue is its ability to maintain body temperature by creating an air layer between the skin and the fabric, which expels excess heat produced by the body outward while preventing the cold from coming into contact with the skin. Furthermore, Thermosystem Termika improves the fit of the fabric due to its elastic qualities.
On the front, we do not use fleece on the inside; instead, a fabric providing high breathability is used, allowing sweat vapour to escape in all situations, including during maximum stress when sweating increases.
The cut of the jacket is Slim Fit, a close aerodynamic fit to reduce air resistance and enhance the fabric's properties.
We have added reflective details on the back to increase cyclist safety in low visibility conditions. It features three comfortable elastic pockets at the back that are very accessible and sporty, with a range of bright and colourful reinforcement.
