ProTaper Carbon hangers are manufactured using PFL (Plastic Foam Lamination) technology , which uses tiny particles and steam pressure during the lamination process to form the structure hanger. The process uses less resin and fewer folds, reducing the hanger's weight by 15% while maintaining its strength. Cut-out marks allow easy adjustment of the handlebar width. Finally, the clamping areas are textured to ensure a perfect hold of components on the handlebars, limiting the risk of over-clamping.
