Tannus Puncture Armour

Tannus Armour is a semi-foam designed to be placed between the inner tube and the tire. The insert protects against punctures caused by sharp objects, pinch flats, and side cuts.

It’s the first "semi-foam", UNIQUE on the market. Developed with the patented Aither compound, it has a base of 1,000,000,000 (one billion) closed air micro "bubbles" and olefin polymer; this represents a significant innovation for the cycling world.

The Armour covers nearly 360º providing heel-to-heel protection, which gives inner protection to the tire. This allows you to ride at much lower pressures without the tire deforming, slowing down, or becoming difficult to control.

It noticeably absorbs a large amount of vibrations from the terrain (for example, in loose stone areas) and dissipates energy evenly within the chamber. The result is a much smoother, quieter, and more comfortable ride.

PUNCTURE PROTECTION

The Tannus Armour features a base protection of 13 to 15 mm thick, as well as reinforced side protection of 2 to 5 mm.

It eliminates 90% of punctures caused by the 4 main threats:

SHARP OBJECTS, SIDE CUTS, PINCH FLATS and PUNCTURES.
