Box One Stem Delta

All Box stems are designed and made using our Oversized technology. By following the load paths along the handlebars, we focused on the stem-handlebar interface. Since the wall thickness and diameter of the Oversized handlebars are larger, we opted for a wider stem interface, providing a larger surface area. To achieve this, we moved material from low-stress areas. This has significantly reduced twisting and improved responsiveness. The assembly of the stem with the handlebar has helped to increase pedalling stiffness by preventing the "lifting" phenomenon. There's no need to push hard on the pedals if you can’t pull on the handlebars and apply the necessary power. Power can easily be lost due to handlebar bending, which can lead to poor power transfer and control. When combined with other Oversized components from Box, you’ll benefit from greater responsiveness and reduced latency. Key differences: This particular stem model not only moves material from low-stress areas to the oversized interface but also ensures stiffness through the design of the side skirts. We used a reverse development process for the stem delta. The structure was created from the outside in, unlike the traditional method of inside out. These stems are designed for larger racing bikes.
