test on test bench with shock absorber Fox DHX2 with oil oforigine Fox 5Wt :

temperature rise:

• the temperature of the oil fox reaches 80°C after 83 seconds
• the temperature of the race shock danico biotech oil reaches 80°C after 145 seconds

conclusion : for the same use and conditions, the use of biotech oil allows a better endurance of the suspensions and a better functioning.

damping as a function of speed (at 20°C & 80°C)

• at 20°C race biotech oil has a better damping than fox d'origine especially at high speed
• at 80°C race oil biotech offers a much better damping than race oil fox

Note also that the damping withorigine oil deteriorates as the temperature increases whereas biotech is not sensitive to the temperature increase!
