Assioma DUO-Shi is compatible with the following Shimano® pedal bodies: PD-R8000, PD-R7000, PD-6800, PD-R550, and PD-R540.

Increased Q-factor?
The Q-factor of the Assioma Look® version is +54mm, while that of Assioma DUO-Shi measures +64mm with the PD-R7000/R550/R540 pedal bodies and +65mm with the PD-R8000/6800. Despite initial hesitation about increasing the Q-factor, we decided to proceed with the project, considering that our body's size (weight, hip width, etc.) plays a role in determining the most suitable Q-factor for each of us. Positive feedback from our beta testers ultimately validated the product.

Easy to install
Assioma can be easily mounted, removed, and transferred from one bike to another in minutes: no special tools or help from a mechanic needed. Just like regular pedals.

IAV Cycling Dynamics
Assioma features advanced IAV Cycling Dynamics metrics: IAV Power Phase and IAV Rider Position. These metrics, combined with traditional power data, allow for detailed analysis of pedalling technique and how the cyclist's position on the bike affects performance.

IAV Power and gyroscope
Unlike others, Assioma's measurements are not affected by errors linked to very irregular pedalling (e.g. uphill sprints) or the use of oval chainrings. This is because Assioma can detect the actual instantaneous angular velocity of the pedal stroke, giving you a precision level of ±1% in any situation. Not just in a lab.

Bluetooth SMART and ANT+
Assioma connects via Bluetooth and ANT+ with bike computers as well as Android and iOS smartphones.

Real left/right data
The Assioma power sensors are located on the pedals, exactly where the cyclist exerts their force. This ensures accurate data not only for total power but also for the balance between left/right legs, torque efficiency (TE), smoothness of pedalling (PS), etc.

Accuracy and stability
Assioma provides accurate wattage measurements with high consistency and stability in real-world road conditions and at any temperature between -10°C and 60°C, thanks to ATC (Automatic Temperature Compensation).

Waterproof, durable, and lightweight
The electronics of Assioma are protected in an extremely shock-resistant, two-component resin block that's completely waterproof.

Rechargeable and durable
Assioma is the only pedal-mounted power sensor with integrated rechargeable batteries; one charge ensures at least 50 hours of use.
