Waterproof bib shorts AquaRepel

When autumn arrives, your summer cycling shorts start to lose their appeal: designed for maximum breathability, they will struggle to protect your leg muscles and lower body from the first chill. The GripGrab AquaRepel shorts are the solution you need: padded and comfortable shorts made from waterproof and windproof materials, allowing you to rack up the miles in comfort during the mid-season and until winter arrives.

These shorts feature the same highly elastic softshell fabric as the GripGrab AquaRepel leg warmers: the three-layer fabric includes a 100% waterproof, windproof and breathable membrane to keep your legs warm against the cold and splashes from the rear wheel. The protective fabric stretches in all four directions for a snug yet comfortable fit that lets you move freely.

In the areas not covered by the 100% waterproof membrane, such as under the legs or at the waist, a soft brushed fleece fabric is used to provide extra breathability and strategic stretch. Like the other fabrics in the shorts, this fleece has been treated with a durable water repellent (DWR) that is free from fluorocarbons, so it quickly sheds rain and splashes.

The chamois used in the AquaRepel shorts comes from the leading brand in this area, Elastic Interface. The LIÈGE HP chamois offers superior comfort even on long distances, thanks to its high-density foam inserts. These are placed in strategic areas to relieve pressure on your sit bones and perineum. A perfect combination of perforated foams with varying densities ensures exceptional breathability and optimal freedom of movement.

Reflective details have been added to the shorts to make you more visible in low light, while the silicone grip bands at the hems of the thighs and the flatlock seams ensure that the shorts stay comfortably in place, with or without leg warmers.
