The inserts at the chest front, lower back, and sleeves of this jacket are made from a three-layer softshell fabric with an integrated windproof, breathable, and 100% waterproof membrane: a true shield against the cold and splashes. The protective three-layer fabric has a very stretchy profile for a fit that is both close to the body and comfortable, while the raglan sleeves allow free movement and the raw-edged cuffs form a barrier against cold air.

In areas not covered by the 100% waterproof membrane, such as under the arms or at the top of the back, a soft brushed fleece fabric is used to provide additional breathability and strategic stretch. Just like the softshell fabric, this fleece has received a durable water-repellent (DWR) treatment without fluorocarbons, allowing it to shed rain and splashes directly.

A YKK® Vislon two-way zipper with extra-long pull tabs lets you regulate air circulation through different layers and avoid overheating during intense effort. Another option: when the weather conditions worsen, zip the jacket all the way up to the collar to fully protect yourself from the outside elements. A silicone hook-and-loop band at the back hem keeps the jacket securely in place, regardless of the effort exerted.

At the back of the jacket, three large open pockets at the top hold your gear, along with a zipped pocket to protect your valuables. Reflective details at the back ensure you are more easily seen on the road in low light conditions.
