Outsole

The MX201 Flat has a comfortable outsole made of genuine rubber and SPD-compatible EVA Enduro, with a semi-rigid nylon midsole. There is often a necessary balance between biking and walking with the bike on the trails, and the MX201 is designed to give you the stability you need on all types of mixed terrains.

The MX201 features the legendary formula of glass-fibre injected nylon sole from Lake, with an all-new design offering incredible grip on all surfaces, as well as exceptional durability for all-day cycling. It will absorb shocks so that you don't have to.

Lining
The MX201 has a robust and durable upper made from Clarino Microfiber and NuFoam mesh, perfect for off-road adventures. The snug and durable microfiber and mesh upper also features a comfortable and secure BOA® closure system, as well as a Tectuff Microfiber toe protection to absorb unexpected shocks on technical terrain.

Closure
We know how important it is to have the right closure system, especially for technical off-road terrains where safety and stability are critical. We've used the BOA® Fit System Li2 dials for the ultimate fit. The Li2 dial is the most advanced platform in cycling, offering precise and micro-adjustable fitting in both directions and designed to withstand abrasion.
