The NXT/BLOB inner tube from BARBIERI is made of TPU (Thermoplastic Polyurethane), a cutting-edge material that allows the creation of inner tubes that are less bulky and lighter than traditional butyl inner tubes. Additionally, it offers greater resistance to punctures and pinching, making this inner tube an entirely recyclable product!
Completely produced in Italy, this inner tube helps to reduce the rotating mass, thus increasing the flexibility of the wheels.

When comparing the NXT inner tube to a standard butyl inner tube 700x18-25, the weight savings is 45 g, which is about 43%. This lightness is felt instantly and ensures a better riding experience, both in terms of responsiveness and flexibility.

For storage, Barbieri advises keeping the inner tube folded as it is in the packaging, so that the sealant lasts longer.
The sealant can dry over time. If it starts to solidify, you can add BLOB NXT sealant from BARBIERI, sold separately.
Barbieri recommends adding 30 ml for road bikes, 50 ml for gravel bikes, and 80 ml for mountain bikes.
If the sealant can't immediately plug the hole, simply turn the wheel so that the sealant is distributed over the entire surface of the inner tube and reinflate it quickly.
Once you're back home, Barbieri suggests locating the hole and repairing it with the repair kit with patches designed for BARBIERI NXT TPU inner tubes.
