Remove your cranks easily and safely with the extra-long Cyclus Tools crank extractor for electric bikes. Universal and precise use, including guides in different sizes.
Currently, electric bikes have bottom bracket axles that no longer have tapered surfaces. Instead, the crank is attached only by stops and screw connections. The position of the stops is usually too long for loosening or removing the crank with conventional tools, which is why the "long working stroke" tool was developed.
With this tool set, you can remove the cranks from the corresponding axles. The existing long working stroke (over 20 mm) makes the puller universally applicable. Whether you have a pressed crank or a new type of crank with screwed-on crank seats, both systems can be removed quickly, safely and professionally.
You can remake existing crank threads with the M22x1 tap or create a new, larger thread in the crank with the M24 drill bit and M24x1 tap.
To work accurately and safely in the process, the set includes the corresponding guides in M8-M10-M12-M15.
The following dimensions are crucial for the use of the Cyclus Tools extractor:
the existing bottom bracket connection thread (e.g. M15x1) and the internal thread of the crank (e.g. M22x1).
