Coating Renthal Lock-On Aramid

Lock-On grips from Renthal feature CNC aluminum clamps permanently integrated into the central core, ensuring maximum security on the handlebar in all situations. The integrated structure eliminates any movement between the grip section and the clamps, which might otherwise shift over time.

The aramid resin compound has been developed to offer an extremely "sticky" feel, with excellent shock-absorbing qualities. The aramid resin used in this compound considerably prolongs service life, making it the most durable handle available.

Forward-facingangled finger grooves:
When pulling on the handlebars, most of the grip and torque is concentrated in the fingers. Forward-facing angled grooves in the finger area provide more grip when pulling backwards, but remain flat under normal riding conditions for greater comfort.

Backward-facing angled palm grooves:
When braking or descending steeply, most of the torque and grip is concentrated in the palm of the hand. The rear-facing angled grooves offer better grip in this situation. They also provide a wide, comfortable surface for the palm of the hand under normal running conditions.

Homogeneous texture:

The grooves are uniform across the entire width of the grip, allowing riding in any position.

Open grip features:

In extreme conditions, falls are inevitable, which can lead to large amounts of mud on the grips. They have been designed to expel mud easily from the ends.

Sticky ultra grip compound:

Lock-On Grip Aramid from Renthal is the most advanced grip compound available. The base material contains millions of randomly aligned Kevlar® aramid resin particles. As the grip is used, more of the aramid resin is exposed, helping to resist wear while maintaining a soft, sticky feel.
