The Apex shifter, as in every road groupset from SRAM, features the patented DoubleTap technology, with benefits such as independent "guard adjustment" of the brake and gear levers. The Apex handlebar uses a single lever for shifting and a specific lever for braking.
All of these mechanical features are combined in an extremely light 344g package and offers internal cable routing to maximize aerodynamics and give a more elegant appearance.
