Description
The Air-Liner is a high-quality polymer insert that replaces part of the air volume in the tire. This feature, combined with the shape, provides an adjustable system that improves your driving performance. The Air-Liner destroys the traditional compromise between stability and grip, and allows your tires to remain stable, grippy and controlled, even at low pressures. The top channel provides space for the adjustable inner tube that is located directly under the tire tread. On impact, the edges of the channel corners first flex and gradually thicken as the tire is compressed. This allows the tread to remain flexible, increasing traction without sacrificing impact resistance. The lower channel allows easy adjustment of the inner tube, and allows full compatibility of all valve core styles. The shape of the round section mimics the natural shape of the tire and allows a greater contact area in the sidewalls of the tire casing. The stability of the tire from side to side is increased, but the tread remains soft and grippy. This improves cornering, climbing and braking performance.
- Protection: Wheel and tire are protected by the Air-Liner insert. By cushioning the shocks from the inside of the tire, your expensive rim remains protected, while eliminating flat spots caused by rim shocks.
- Control: The Air-Liner insert replaces the volume of air in the tire. The reduced air volume allows the tire to compress and bounce in a more controlled manner than standard tubeless systems.
- Performance: The tire's lateral stability is increased, but the tread remains soft and grippy. This improves cornering, climbing and braking performance.
- Durability: This highly durable polymer material has been tested for an expected life of 2000 hours in normal driving, or 1 full hour of flat descent under the guidance of a typical cyclist.
