By limiting all movement to the horizontal axis, this design provides more speed, reduces shifting force, and eliminates problems with unintended shifting. ROLLER BEARING CLUTCH technology reduces kickback and prevents the chain from banging too often. CAGE LOCK technology makes it easier than ever to remove and install the wheels. The X-HORIZON rear derailleur, in combination with the X01 shifter, is the core element of X-ACTUATION technology for incredibly smooth shifting.
