Description
A mountain bike shoe for XC and marathon designed for winter training in mild climates. The shoe is made of a Gore-Tex Pique membrane that keeps the foot warm and perfectly insulated. An additional lining in the toe area provides additional thermal insulation.
The carbon-reinforced Jaw sole with a stiffness rating of 8.0 and a natural rubber heel offers extreme grip on all surfaces. The upper shoe with its overlapping construction made of the most innovative materials wraps the foot perfectly, avoids pressure points and transmits every watt of power to the drivetrain without loss. Additional TPU reinforcements provide 360° protection over the entire upper part of the shoe.
A simple and consistent fit is guaranteed by the SLW2's rotational fastening system, the only one with a step-by-step release that allows the shoe's fastening to be adjusted to the millimeter in a quick and intuitive manner. The new Easyfit Climaflex entry zone combines the extreme flexibility of the Gore-Tex Rattler membrane with the high thermal insulation of neoprene and guarantees mobility and protection against cold and moisture. The ergonomic heel shape, with its anatomical fit thanks to the latest thermoforming technology, combined with our Arctic 4Layer sole made of EVA + Aluminum as well as EVA + Pile, ensures excellent thermal insulation. The 360° reflective inserts offer more safety in low visibility conditions.
