F6800 LLU MAX BO - Flanged, MAX-Design, Black-Oxide, ABEC-3, radial suspension bearing - 10mm x 19/21mm x 5mm Enduro Bearings pioneered MAX-type bearings over 20 years ago for bicycles to meet the challenges associated with mountain bike pivots. MAX bearings offer 35% to 40% more load capacity than standard radial bearings, thanks to a special design that allows the maximum number of balls (full-complement) to be inserted into the bearing, via a custom-ground groove in the raceways. The race grooves are also deeper on these bearings to provide increased lateral support to counter the torsional and multidirectional forces associated with mountain bike pivots. This MAX, Black-Oxide, ABEC-3 type bearing features deep-groove raceways, Grade 10 balls and double-lip labyrinth seals for maximum protection against the elements, while retaining 90% Almagard ultra-high-pressure grease inside. The Black-Oxide/Magnetite coating offers an extra level of corrosion resistance and extended worry-free performance. This bearing has been used as a suspension pivot bearing by a number of bicycle brands, including Trek. The Enduro range of bearings is available in high-carbon chromium steel, 440C stainless steel, ceramic-hybrid and XD15 with ceramic or stainless steel balls. Our bearings are always designed with the deepest possible grooves to accommodate the largest balls, and feature double-lip seals that move in a micro-groove creating a complete labyrinth to provide superior protection against the elements.
