Choosing the VOG OFF Road E5000 means choosing an electric VTC capable of comfortable riding both on the road and on paths closer to nature. You will appreciate its road holding on the paths, its comfort and its speed on the towpaths, its resistance and its autonomy on the seaside. Equipped with the lightest and most energy efficient Shimano STEPS E5000 motor on the market, this is a perfect bike for long day rides or multi-day touring. Our engineers designed this bike with a reinforced frame to better withstand bumps and road imperfections, and support carrying luggage on the back of the bike.

The electric part:

The E5000 motor of the STEPS range is a new feature for 2019, it is affordable and reasonable in power (40nm), which allows it a low consumption and thus to display an impressive range of up to 220km in economic mode with the powerpack600. The most compact engine of its generation, it has a record low weight of 2.5kg. Ideal when you want to lighten your bike. Important to underline concerning this motorization, the noise! almost null in operation. So much so that you will sometimes wonder if the engine is really on ? be careful with the difference in altitude, if you plan to tackle steep slopes with a high percentage (Alpine type), prefer the more torquey E6100 model. The powerpack batteries developed by our engineers O2feel, are available in 2 versions for this model VOG OFF ROAD E5000. The powerpack400 in 374wh allows up to 100km of autonomy in economic mode. The powerpack600 will be able to bring you up to 220km of autonomy there also in eco mode. Note that the generation of powerpack battery O2feel offers increased autonomy through the latest technology of cells selected internally, from the automotive.

The display screen of the VOG OFF Road E5000 is the E6100 LCD model from Shimano. It is a very nice screen to use. It is fixed in the center of the handlebar leaving free access to other controls and the possibility of mounting other equipment on the handlebar (GPS, Smartphone ...). Easy reading with its size of 2.7 inches (6.8cm). Smart phone connectivity via bluetooth, including the E tube-Ride application available on IOS or Android. The screen is removable and serves as a key for the bike. :

The VOG Off Road E5000 is delivered with its charger. It is a model that delivers 2Ah, it allows you to charge your batteries between 5h and 8h depending on the power you are equipped. O2feel offers several models of charger different according to your needs (travel, 2 separate charge points, fast charge ...)

The cycle part :

The frame of the VOG is in Aluminium 6061. It is available in 2 sizes each equipped with a different size of wheels.
The size 50 is equipped with 27,5 inches wheels

The larger 27.5" wheels have a greater inertia and are suitable for taller riders and longer rides. The rims are models MD19 of ALEXRIM, they are rims developed for the all ground. They are reinforced with double walls, more resistant to shocks. The mounted tires are marathon plus MTB ultra-puncture resistant with their reinforcement strip under the tread. The tyre cross-section is 2.1*26p and 2.1*27.5p, the right compromise for comfort and grip on rough terrain.

Shimano MT200 hydraulic disc brakes are ideal for VTC use. With a diameter of 160mm front and rear they will be powerful for efficient braking under load or in wet conditions.

The derailleur is a Shimano Altus 8 speed, reliable, simple, adapted to the roughness of the grounds ready to accomodate the electric VTC.

For the seat it is the Gipsy saddle of the Italian manufacturer Selle Royal which equips the VOG Off Road. Light, waterproof, size and shape adapted to the semi-sport practice of an electric VTC. Height and depth adjustment possible.

For your night outings, the VOG Off Road is equipped with a more powerful headlight than its cousin, the city model. It is the Axendo 40 model from the French brand Spanninga. A robust design headlamp equipped with RBT technology (Reverse Beam Technology) developed by Spanninga, which allows a powerful beam of light without dazzling oncoming motorists and cyclists. Additional protection: a retro-reflector is elegantly integrated around the diffusion optics. The light is powered by the bike's battery.

The luggage rack has a weight limit of 25 kg and is suitable for attaching panniers or a child seat.
